I didn’t know the word antiphony when recording the album. The term is used for any kind of call and response style of singing and I strongly feel that it applies to my approach to making music in general. I send out some sound and I get back an answer, like talking to someone in fact. And in that answer lies the surprise, the part you can’t control and foresee, the part that transcends all expectations of outcome and my own weird little ego.
